Is The ID Of Current Al-Qaeda Leader In Iraq A Hoax?

Is the image on the right really Al-Qaida in Iraq's leader? Supposidly Abu Ayyub Al-Masri recently released an audiotape urging nuclear scientists to join Al Qaeda.

The 20-minute audio was posted to a Web site that frequently airs al-Qaida messages. The voice could not be independently identified, but it was thought to be al-Masri's. He is believed to have succeeded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who died in a U.S. airstrike north of Baghdad in June, as head of the al-Qaida-linked organization.
Egyptian Sandmonkey says that he can't figure out how he is doing this since he is currently rotting in an Egyptian Tora Prison where he's been for the past 7 years.

Maybe the Egyptian let him out so he could start a new job of leading terrorists in Iraq!
