I Love Charlie Rangel And Nancy Pelosi (even though they're usually acting like moonbats)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

But they're acting like real Americans today!

Charlie says on his site that Chavez can attack the President, but if you're not an American, attacking our president is attacking all of us. He did better on TV:

'You do not come into my country, my congressional district, and you do not condemn my president. If there is any criticism of President Bush, it should be restricted to Americans, whether they voted for him or not. I just want to make it abundantly clear to Hugo Chavez or any other president, but do not come to the United States and think because we have problems with our president that any foreigner can come to our country and not think that Americans do not feel offended when you offend our Chief of State'...
Nancy chimed in with, "Hugo Chavez fancies himself a modern day Simon Bolivar but all he is an everyday thug."

Way to go guys, we're proud of you, you've earned the right to be called patriotic Americans for the next 24 hours. After that, you're on you're back on probation. After all, remember, it's always what have you done for me lately, baby.

But I'm not the only one on the center-right side of the blogosphere that's impressed with the two leftie dems:

The Anchoress exclaims, "Good heavens, even Nancy Pelosi - not the brightest meat cleaver in the pork store - has managed to figure out the right side of this issue."

Wizbang
is impressed too, and says, "Now if they could only apply the same standard to their own comments and to those of their friends on the left."

Jay at Stop The ACLU is impressed as well: "I can't believe I'm saying this but...Bravo Democrats! Lets hear some more join the chorus!"

Other "amazed" bloggers include The Jawa Report and A Blog For All.
