Churches may be burning, but Kudos to the Pope!
Topics: Understanding Islam"Kudos" to his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, for using his "Logos," and telling it like it is, calling an apple an apple, and an orange an orange, and for having the courage to point out to the world the obvious, and say the "Emperor" is not wearing any clothes (perhaps because the Emperor has been duped into believing he is wearing the politically correct mantle of "Peace Loving Islamism" to hide his nakedness?!?!)!
Churches may be burning, and outraged Muslims once more protesting on the Arab street, engaging in their habitual violence and mayhem, yet, it is so refreshing to hear the Pope debunk President Bush's, and Europe's for that matter, politically correct delusions, of calling Islam a "Religion of Peace" ! Islam is inextricably intertwined with violence and bloodshed since its inception, and no amount of "Apologia," or rose colouring at Lens Crafters will ever change the historical facts!!!
In a mental aberration of circular, irrational, thinking, that to most Western physicians would seem to border on the pathological, this time, enraged Muslims are out torching Christian Churches - most of them not even Catholic and therefore not linked directly with the Holy See and the Pope, rioting in protest, burning effigies of the Pope, and engaging in their customary "violence," in order to protest that Islam is not "violent"! Would be hilarious - worthy of some hare-brained Saturday Night Live parody - were it not so pathetic!!!
But wait! It only gets better! In Iran after a fiery, vitriolic, speech by a Mullah condemning the comments made by the Pope, the listening crowds responded by chanting: "Death to America, death to America!" which begs two questions:
First, if indeed Islam is not "violent," how come these believers in that "non-violent" Islam, who are protesting so loudly that Islam be categorized thus, yet wish death and "violence" upon America or anyone else???
Secondly, what in the hell does America have to do with a scholarly dissertation by the Pope, the Holy See, and the Vatican??? What, America now tells the Pope and the Holy See what to say and do?!?! Or is it that in the "Zionist Conspiracy" mentality of these savages, they believe that "hated Zionists" also control the Vatican?!? Again, it would be laughable were it not so pathetic!!!
In light of this, why don't we try to find a solution, that will address Muslim "sensitivities" once and for all, all throughout the world from now on, in a more permanent manner? You know, perhaps, instead of having all these piecemeal demonstrations, suicide bombings, bloodshed, violence, and mayhem, every time a little birdie flies by and lands a dropping on a Mullah's beard, or a dog (must belong to an American tourist) pees on the cornerstone of a Mosque, or Muslims hear that someone used the Koran as a poor, asperous, substitute for toilet paper in Guantanamo, or a Dane publishes a cartoon of Mohammed, or the Pope cites a long dead Byzantinian Emperor in a scholastic lecture; why not be practical, and get it all over and done with in one shot, round up all the Muslims in the world, place them all 'en masse' smack in the middle of Iraq, strap each of them with one of their beloved Jihadist sticks of dynamite, and light it for them - you know, as a courtesy, just as you would offer to light up a cigarette for someone....even though its killing him! That way, all Muslims will have performed their "duty" of Jihad as the Mullahs continuously rile them to do, go on to Heaven and their 72 virgins, and the rest of us can go on with our lives and to live in PEACE!!!
