Are "Cut-and-Run" Democrats More Concerned About Our Young Men and Women Serving in Iraq Than Their Very Own Parents Are?!?! The Real Cynical Reason Behind the Democrat's Position!!!
Topics: IraqRecently I had the pleasure of speaking with the father of one of our heroic young servicemen serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
During the course of the conversation, he mentioned how his son had re-enlisted, and chosen to return to Iraq for his 4th tour of duty. I commended him on his son, and the courage, commitment, and patriotism of this extraordinary young American, and cautioned him that his son had already served his country, and risked his life for us, more times than could be expected of him, and that perhaps he should change his line of work when this latest tour of duty was completed. His father proudly told me how his son was already planning on returning to Iraq for a 5th time, in an even more harrowing line of duty! I asked him to please salute his son on my behalf, and to convey to him my utmost respect and admiration, and my heart-felt gratitude, for his sacrifice and heroism! I warmly shook the proud father's hand saying to him with all my heart: "May God Bless and Keep him!"
Later, thinking about this inspirational encounter, I have been reminiscing about all the parents of our young servicemen and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, or even infinitely more painfully, of those whose children have heroically fallen in action, which I have seen interviewed on television, and with the notable exception of Cindy Sheehan and a handful of others of her ilk, all these proud parents - those who eagerly await the return of their sons and daughters from the battlefield, as well as those who have verily buried their hopes and dreams, and their hearts and souls with their beloved fallen Heroes, whom they will forever grieve- proudly stand by their children, the choice they made to serve our country in its time of need when this war was thrust upon us, proud of their sacrifice, and supportive of our government's efforts to win this struggle - lest those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, would have died in vain!
These parents, who lovingly raised their sons and daughters, who loved and gave them support all through their lives, and who are immensely proud of their sacrifices, stand fast by our President, support and encourage our troops and our military, and unequivocally wish to see us complete the mission many of them have lost their sons and daughters for, and succeed in Iraq!!!
Who could possibly doubt the love and devotion of these parents, especially in the case of those who are bereaved?!?!
And yet, demagogue Democrats, who advocate and feverishly support "late-term abortion," "euthanasia," the destruction of the traditional family by usurping "alternate lifestyles," "rabid feminism," and the "relativism" of all moral values, along with all else that could be surmised as "CONTRARY" to Sir Francis Bacon's famous dictum, "for the uses of life," purport to wish to "cut-and-run" in their defeatism in Iraq, because of the "mounting casualties," which they cite and pander in grusome, insensitive, detail, every chance they get?!?!
Apparently, the cut-and-run Democrats, are "concerned" for the "wellbeing" of our military young men and women serving, and "care" more about them than their own loving parents who gave them life, who, albeit, support the war effort, and wants us to complete the mission, and succeed in Iraq!!!
And yet if one of these, our servicemen and women, happened to be in a hospital in a vegetative state on life support, these very same "Democrats" would not flinch for a fraction of a second in "pulling the plug" on him or her...even against the will of the parents!!!
What horrendous farce!!! What heinous hypocrisy!!! What a sick and abrasive callousness!!!!! Especially after these same Democrats, such as Murtha, Kerry, and their ilk, consistently have criticized, demoralized, and condemned our troops and our military in Iraq at every turn all throughout this struggle...some of them even monstrously calling them "baby killers"!!!!!
The one and only, "real," selfish reason these peacenik, leftist, liberal "Democrats" wish to cut-and-run, and pull out of Iraq, is that they all just want to bury their heads in the sand, under the pathetic multiculturalist "delusion," that if they do so long enough, the Jihadist murderers, who wish to obliterate America and destroy Western Civilization to impose their hateful ideology of death, violence, and intolerance, will simply go away...and then they can go on with their "politically correct," "secular progressive," "wine-sipping," "latte- drinking" "elitist" lives, and not have to deal with it !!!
