Time For Condi To Go?
Topics: Political News and commentariesMichael Rubin at The Corner (Hat tip - Tel-Chae Nation) tells the truth about Condi Rice's diplomatic "victories" ever since she became the US secratary of state. And Allahpundit appears to feel the same way. As TCN points out, she did, after all, go against Denmark during the cartoon controversy, and kept insisting in some press statements that Islam is a ROP. What she should have pointed out is it's their peace they speak of, which is obtained only through our submission. When it comes to the war against radical Islam, she doesn't get it. This, and she's too wrapped up in the pseudo-idea that one can negotiate with Islamists. She apparently believes al-Taqiyya is no longer in the Islamists lexicon.
I join Tel-Chae Nation in calling for Condi's resignation. I suggest replacing Rice with a bit of testosterone - someone with the backbone and savvy of Jean Kirkpatrick or John Bolten. And while we're on the topic of testosterone, President Bush could use a few shots himself. He does a good job of talking the talk, but when it comes down to walking the walk in the war on terror and beating the hell out of or Islamist enemies, he barely crawls the crawl, much less walking the walk. And what we really need is a full run, not even a jog is going to get. The UN resolution ending the Israel-Hezbollah war is an unmittigated disaster for the West, and Iran, hezbollah, and al-Qaeda have not only been emboldened, their in a dead run to kill us - our death their run.
