The Conservative Case Against Rudy Giuliani In 2008
Topics: Political News and commentaries
Up to now, I've been looking at Rudy Giuliani as a contender for the 08 presidency, as has a lot of other people. They, like me, couldn't stomach McCain, and few others have the national recognition of Guiliani. Rudy Giuliani, a contender for the Presidency in 2008, is receiving an inordinate amount of positive attention. Here's a short, but sweet primer on some of Rudy's many flaws.
Until I read John's piece I thought Rudy's got to be the man - sort of a conservative's own Bubba. However, considering the litany of anti-conservative positions, he'd be a sell and is virtually dead against most of what the Republican base stands for. In my mind, though, it just may come down to a case of winning with a guy we can barely tolerate, or loosing to a George Soros candidate - Kerry or worse - that would hand the Islamists the keys to the nation, with blessing to allah. Yet, on the other hand, Rudy would hand the keys over to the illegal aliens.
Maybe it's becoming time to pull a Hollywood and bug out of the country, but that brings up another issue. Where in the hell do you go from here?
