Palestinians Seek Kidnapped Fox News Reporters
Topics: Middle East News and Perspectives"Tommy," who sent us the link to this story, says he loves the wording:
... An investigator in the case, speaking on condition of anonymity so as not to jeopardize the investigation, said suspicions were focusing on a renegade group from an established Palestinian militant organization, but he declined to give further details. The car in which the journalists were taken has been identified, he said.In his email, Tommy added that he thinks the "investigator" is stating they believe that a particular set of people, from the terrorist organization Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade, carried out the kidnapping, but it isn't clear:
What constitutes an 'established militant organization' and what is a 'renegade group' in Palestinian parlance? I mean, I thought AAMB was supposed to be a renegade group of Fatah? So is this a renegade group of that renegade group? Can't we just call them terrorists instead of lending them the air of legitimacy of being part of the 'establishment'?Read the article here...
