On Lipstick, Pigs, And Ned Lamont
Topics: Political News and commentariesHugh Hewitt says, "Don't look now, but according to the latest Quinnipiac Poll, Joe Lieberman has a 53-41 lead over Ned Lamont":
Perhaps more dispiriting for the nutroots will be the fact that Lieberman has a 55-40 approval rating amongst Nutmeggers, putting him in something of a comfort zone. The Quinnipiac polling director detects the obvious: "Ned Lamont's Democratic primary win was based on a very small percentage of voters statewide. He must expand beyond this base if he is going to beat Lieberman."More here...
To put it south Georgia farmboy vernacular, Lamont is a weenie, a moonbat, and an anti-war liberal with no credentials for providing any leadership in the greatest threat to freedom since Adolph Hitler - Islamic fascism. On the other hand, Lieberman is one of the very few "awake" leaders in the Democratic party - they need him to off-set the "New-McGovernites" now in control of the Soros-agenda so prevalent among the lefties.
As Hewitt suggests, it will be interesting to learn how the netroots crowd will slap lipstick on this pig.
