Lieberman Losses
Topics: Political News and commentariesAs heard on Fox News and per email from Harry Owens...
Sen. Joe Lieberman fell to the anti-war challenger Ned Lamont in Connecticut's Democratic primary, a race seen by Democrats as a harbinger of sentiment over Iraq.
I listened to his concession speech, and found myself cheering and clapping for him half way through it. This man deserves a lot of respect, and I intend to support him - even send him a contribution via his website once it's "unhacked." He'll be running as an independent so he'll need the money. My guess is the most folks that are damned tired of the Left's politics of hate and attack, and that are interested in the people in Washington working together and recognizing that we're in a fight for the survival of our civilization, will be cheering for him.
I'm not a Democrat - but I'll be cheering for Senator Joe Lieberman. As far as that guy Ned Lamont - Lieberman will take him in November, and Lamont will be a hero only to the Democratic Left which is fastly becoming the voice of the Democratic party.
