The Plame Lawsuit: A Work Of Fiction - Or Is It Humor?

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Wilsons.jpg[Must be humor. Hell, even the Wilsons are laughing]

I can't help but believe the Wilson family is in serious need of some sort of therapy. Knowing so little about social and psychological disorders, I wouldn't venture to put a label on it, other than attribute it to a not-so-unique (for the Left) blend of Bush Derangement Syndromeand a Sheehan-like need for media attention. On hearing that the whacky couple obsessed with a hatred for the Bush administration was suing Vice President Dick Cheney, his former top aide and presidential adviser Karl Rove on Thursday, accusing them and other White House officials of conspiring to destroy her career, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Certainly I can't be the only one that thinks this family is numerous bricks short of a load, yet the media is making such a fuss about it.

And then this morning, I read Flopping Ace's piece on the Wilsons (or is it the Plames?) and found that I wasn't the only one that believes the whole affair to be collection of laughs.

Sounds like another book in the making. The only question is what category it will be placed in at the local Barnes & Nobles. Is there a category for fictional humor?
