Iran Gave Hezbullah Missiles
Topics: Middle East News and PerspectivesAccording to a source close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards's leadership, Iran has provided the Lebanon-based Hizbullah with approximately 11,500 missiles and projectiles:
The source said more than 3,000 Hizbullah members have undergone training in Iran which included guerilla warfare, firing missiles and artillery, operating unmanned drones, marine warfare and conventional war operations. He said they have also trained 50 pilots for the past two years.Continue reading...Between 1992 and 2005, he said, Hizbullah received 11,500 missiles and projectiles, 400 short-range and medium range guns, as well as many other different types of weapons.
According to the source, Hizbullah currently possesses four types of surface-to-surface missiles, some of which extend to a distance of 150 kilometers.
