Breaking: Israel Army 'Enters Central Gaza'Topics: Middle East News and Perspectives
When the Palestinians learn to love their own children more than they hate ours, then perhaps we will have peace. - Golda MeirVia BBC News: Palestinian witnesses say that Israeli troops have crossed the border into central Gaza in an expansion of their offensive in the Palestinian territory. ... Residents said the soldiers were conducting searches in a village east of the town of Deir al-Balah. ... Israeli forces have already entered parts of northern and southern Gaza.
And in the most ridiculous and most ironic statement of the week, Haniyeh, one of the terrorist leaders of the militant Islamist group Hamas, wrote in an article for the - you guessed it - The Washington Post:
"We present this clear message: If Israel will not allow Palestinians to live in peace, dignity and national integrity, Israelis themselves will not be able to enjoy those same rights."Color me big-time confused, or is it Haniyeh that's confused. Isn't Hamas the one that refuses to denounce violence or even recognize Israel's right to exist?
Looks like another example of the APU.
