About That Hoekstra Letter - What The NYT Left Out And The WaPo Added
Topics: Political News and commentariesAnd they both got it really really wrong!
And what's this about a CIA coup?
As for Hoekstra and his strange anti-administration "evasive" diatribe, does he have a hidden agenda?
I couldn't help but notice that he represents Michigan, that Detroit just happens to be in Michigan, that there is a rather large Muslim community in Detroit, and that he has in the past, expressed concern about intelligence oversight issues that can only be described as "warming the hearts" of Muslims, particularly Ibrahim Cooper, spokesperson for the Council on American Islamic Relations (better known as the radical Islamist, terrorist-supporting Muslim group CAIR). It just couldn't be that Muslim votes have anything to do with a possible Hoekstra hidden agenda, could it? I'm not suggesting that his motives for acting as an open outspoken thorn in the administration's side is to patronize any of his Muslim constituents (his district has the nation's largest concentration of Dutch-Americans - so it may be more Dutch-American than Muslim), but the question of it being a consideration for his real agenda is certainly worth exploring (while keeping in mind that Hoekstra has, on the positive side, been quite vocal about those Saddam documents)
