Worldcup Insults Islam!

From Farooha (via Egyptian Sandmonkey) comes news of the latest fad the Boycott afficinados in Saudi came up with: Boycott the world-cup because it has insulted Islam by placing the Saudi-flag on a football!

Farooha writes: "And so comes the following email, which is surprisingly circulating fast on the inter-web via forwards and forums; more surprising is the fact that it indeed is not about the players' hot thighs and how they're there to seduce our unsuspecting women"... I leave you with an excerpt of just why they are gnashing their teeth, uh, yet again: (and of course, my humble translation):

Subject: Woe to Sports! And woe to Football..!

The words of monotheism, on a football?!!!

Whatever happened to the resolution the Saudi league reached and the directions it had sent out to FIFA about never affronting our flag? This really is an insult and the greatest insult too!

And to make matters worse, look at where the Saudi flag is positioned, to its left there is Israel and above it is Denmark!!!!!! The word must be spread, as it is related to our religion..

Apparently the Saudis have their own moonbats to contend with, and we in the U.S. can no longer claim exclusivity on moonbatism. Our remaining claim to fame on issues relating to moonbatism is that our moonbats are more vocal, come up with even whackier issues to rant about, and would rather p--s on our flag than defend it.

On the more serious side, the Saudi moonbats are providing yet another window into the mindset and degree of blind religious fanaticism driving the Islamists.
