We're At War With Islamists - But 'What's An Islamist'?

Who are the two sides? Us, the West, and them, Islamists. No, not necessarily militant Islamists or Islamofascists or terrorists or Salafi (fundamentalist) Muslims. Our enemy encompasses all Islamists.

What is an Islamist? An Islamist is a Muslim who wants to establish Islam as a political and theological and religious polity over the entire earth, subjugating all peoples and religions under the banner of a victorious, united, unassailable, eternal, and impregnable Islam. This is more than establishing a Caliphate, more than converting people to Islam, more than seeking payment from non-Muslims. This is an imperialist campaign of Islam against the entire world.

The Enemy has ventured into Dar al-Harb (the World of War) from Dar al-Islaam (the World of Islam, also known as Dar as-Salaam, the World of Peace). They are marching towards the Gates of Vienna, and fifth columnists are trying to force the gates open for the marching armies.

This is nothing new. We have been war since September 11, 2001, right? Wrong. This war began in AD 630, when Mecca fell to Muhammad's forces and Islam's armies began looking for conquest outside of Arabia. After a significant lull, the war has resumed.
