So What's Up With Howard Dean And His 'Take Out' Lieberman Agenda? (Updated)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Connecting the dots points to Howard Dean supporting the takedown of one of its own incumbent Senators - Joe Lieberman, (D) from Connecticut:

Howard Dean started Democracy for America (DFA) for his run for the Presidency, but has sinced turned it over to his brother James, who pledged to carry on what his brother Howard started.

Now DFA is working against Lieberman.

Riehl World View has more...

Lieberman has had the audacity to support the President's war on terror, and once issued the statement that it's time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be Commander-in-Chief for three more critical years, and that in matters of war we undermine Presidential credibility at our nation's peril. He has even said that in a time of war - when our nation's security is at stake Democrats shouldn't say anything that might jeopardize our efforts to win a war against an amoral enemy. Apparently, for Howard Dean and his agent, the DFA - run by his brother, statements such as these are over-the-top too patriotic a position for a Democrat to take when their agenda, their only plan to contribute to the American political scene, is to provide "a knee-jerk negative reaction to every Bush policy that comes down the pike."

Update: Flopping Aces says the DNC is obviously heading full tilt over a cliff it either doesn't see or doesn't believe is there, however, Lieberman saw it last November...
