On Denials - 'Here' and 'There'
Topics: War on TerrorMarc Schulman at American Future addresses the denial by America's liberals of the critical importance of the war on jihad, and the denials across the pond of the critical importance of Iraq - and the repercussions of both on us all.
On denial here:

There are completely separate debates about Iraq ongoing on either side of the ocean and they simply don't connect.
How strange that Westerners, speaking here mostly of our liberal friends here and their counterparts - the Bush-hating elites across the Atlantic, so rarely publicly denounce radical Islam for its sick, anti-Semitic, anti-female, anti-American, and anti-modernist rhetoric, or the insane Muslim on Muslim violence in Iraq. However, can you possibly imagine the liberal response if across the globe if Christians had beheaded schoolgirls, taken over schoolhouses to kill students, and shot school teachers as we continue to witness radical Muslims doing (as recent as yesterday - Muslims murdering a bus load of "Muslim" students in Iraq simply because they were the "wrong kind" of Muslims)!!!
As Victor David Hanson has pointed out, "The majority of Muslims are not global terrorists, but almost all such terrorists, and the majority of their sympathizers, are Muslims".
Some things you simply can't and shouldn't deny, especially world-threatening events that are certain to engulf the world in a holocaust like the planet has never experienced before. How ironic that our intellectual elites on both sides of the Atlantic are proving to be "too smart" to read the writings on the wall right in front of their faces.
