Marine General 'Buddy' Of John 'Cold Blooded Murder' Murtha Gives 'Their Guilty Of Murder' Speech

Topics: Political News and commentaries

3_8_QA.jpgA reader (HT - Sid) asks just what is General Michael W. Hagee really saying with this speech? Isn't he convicting the Marines involved in the Haditha incident long before they have the opportunity to defend themselves before a jury?

It is like he has already convicted these men. What happened to innocent before proven guity? And what is he saying about the Marines in general if he feels the need to give this speech? I find it contemptable. The integrity of the Marines are beyond reproach. They have proven their integity in every war including this one.
Let's recall that Marine commandant Gen. Michael Hagee did brief Murtha on the incident and Murtha later told reporters he had learned the Marines were "guilty of killing the civilians" but did not identify who told him. The person that told John "Cold Blooded Murder" Murtha (D, Pa.) is of course very likelly to be none other than General Michael W. Hagee.

As our reader has asked, whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? Most importantly, whatever happened to supporting our men in combat and giving them the benefit of the doubt when in high-stress, high intensive, guerilla-type operations when it's damned hard to know who the enemy and who is not - and if you guess wrong, you and your Marine buddies are dead?
