Head Of U.S. Episcopal Church Prays To - 'Mother Jesus'
Topics: Faith
"Mother" Jesus? The U.S. Episcopal Church has finally gone completely fruity (no pun intended - well, maybe), and saying that it has descended into chaos would be an incredible understatement.
Rev Katharine Schori's election as the new presiding bishop is the begining of the end - she's everything that conservatives believe to be anathema: pro-gay, an ardent feminist, and very likely to take the Church more in the direction of a cult; a cross between a semi-orthodox Christian church and a new-age, make-it-up-as-you-go whacko feminist club comprised of nutty liberal gays, women that wear jock straps, and weanie liberal men with no need for a jock strap.
Their bible? I'm not sure, but The Da Vinci Code! has more validity than whatever the hell they're using.
