Topics: Natalee HollowayBy popular demand, it is time to start up a new thread on the Natalee Holloway investigation. Despite gag orders and promises of breaking news, nothing has really surfaced in the case.
To the dismay of John Q. Kelly, a few new persons of interest have been detained and suspicions of wrongdoing against Natalee Holloway have been raised. These new persons of interest are classified as suspects, and as such weaken both the potential criminal and civil proceedings against Joran van der Sloot. Now, John Q. Kelly has the added burden of disproving the involvement of these new persons of interest. Additionally, he has no way of subpoena-ing these individuals in order to conduct discovery.
On the other hand, Joe Tacopina merely has to point out these new suspects and question the strength of the Aruban prosecutor's case against his client, Joran van der Sloot. In short, if Karen Janssen is so certain of Joran van der Sloot's involvement, then why has she embarked on detention extravaganza against other persons of interest. Also, the fact that Karin Janssen has admitted, in writing, that she has no evidence of wrongdoing against Joran van der Sloot to the US FBI seems to be a curtain call to any arguments that John Q. Kelly could muster up. John Q. Kelly has the additional liability of having potentially submitted a bad faith affidavit ... actually an Easter basket of bad faith affidavits ... to the Supreme Court of the state of New York in which an issue of witness tampering can be raised against John Q. Kelly's clients. In my opinion, John Q. Kelly needs to jump ship and swim for solid ground somewhere ... anywhere!
On the alleged breaking news, it seems that the original blockbuster story emanated from the think tank of the Diario newspaper. Given this newspaper's propensity for sentimentalization and fictional adventures, the breaking news could be the discovery of the Colombian/Venezuelan illegal immigrant's frozen condom in a refrigerator, located in a brothel/laboratory on the Isla de Magarita, Venezuela. Hopefully, proper custody documentation can be verified in order to identify and affix the semen in the frozen condom with a person of interest.
The cable news networks are quiet. Obviously, they have been advised by the legal staffs that they could become defendants in any action Joe Tacopina brings against the Twitty-Holloway camp. Clearly, they aired information that they knew was inaccurate. They aired bogus experts whose competence in the perception of reality ... either in an inebriated or sober state of mind ... blasted through the bottom threshold of our credibility. Quite frankly, their experts would have been discredited in the Middle Ages ... even by the Council of the Planet of the Apes.
