Canadian Security Intelligence Service 'Secret'(?) Document At National Post (With Link To CTV Video Report)

Topics: War on Terror
Alvin Chand, brother of Toronto suspect Steven Vikash Chand, scoffed at the charges outside the courthouse as several officers took up surveillance positions on surrounding rooftops and a helicopter circled: ... "He's not a terrorist, come on, he's a Canadian citizen," Chand said of his brother. "The people that were arrested are good people. They go to the mosque. They go to school, go to college." n060363A.jpgThe above text in bold sends a warning message to all of us!!!

So does this:

Most of the group, remanded into custody until all 17 make their next court appearance Tuesday, wore street clothes although some appeared in white jump suits. The majority sported the traditional Muslim male beard.
Via Little Green Footballs, here's a link to what seems to be a Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) top secret document (pdf), at the National Post: Sunni Islamic Extremism.

I have no idea if this ever was really secret - it's obviously not a secret any more. As LGF points out, it's "double plus politically incorrect."

The Canadian counter-terrorism investigation that led to the arrests of 17 people accused of plotting bombings in Ontario is linked to probes in at least a half-dozen countries (ht-LGF).

LGF also has a very interesting video report from Canada's CTV on the terror arrests.

And apparently the terrorism threat is a wake-up call for Canadians.
