As They Search For Relevance - Dems Continue To Undermine War Effort

Sen. John Kerry's brand-new legislation to withdraw our troops from Iraq is only the latest example of Democrats undermining our war effort while trying to make themselves relevant:
Every time there is good news coming out of Iraq, such as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's death, Democrats can't allow the news cycle to pass without trying to put a damper on it. It's as if they're saying, "Hey, look at us. We matter, too. We also have ideas on Iraq. Pay no attention to the good news. The news is all bad all the time. The Dems remind me of a classroom nerd, way out of touch with reality and with no social skills, jumping up and down while wearing a beenie hat and saying, "Hey, look at me, look at me, look at me ..."!
On the more serious side, I'm reminded of a comment made by Thomas Sowell in "Random Thoughts": People who say that the war in Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terror are unaffected by the fact that the terrorists themselves obviously think otherwise, as they converge on Iraq from other countries.
Realities and facts are somehow unimportant to liberal Dems, the only thing that's ever going to be important to them is their own agenda, if they ever figure out what it is.
