Will The Terrorist-Founded Islamic Group CAIR Come As 'Part Of The Package' With The Next Governor Of Florida?
Topics: Political News and commentariesHow concerned should we be when those with sinister intentions gain a foothold in our government? We're talking here about the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an offshoot of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), a group whose founders include the number two leader in Hamas today, Mousa Abu Marzook, and the former North American leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Sami Al-Arian.
Alarmingly, Florida citizens are about to have two men from different parties run for governor that have had dealings with the group and given it their support:
On November 7, 2006, citizens throughout the state of Florida will go to the polls to help their candidate of choice cruise to victory and take home the prestigious and powerful seat of governor. But what happens if that victor brings with him an unwelcome partner? And what happens if that unwelcome partner turns out to be the offspring of a front for terrorist organizations? With the two leading candidates - one from each of the major parties - having dealings with CAIR, it is quite possible that this frightening scenario will occur. So who are the two men that seek to become Florida's governor and have had dealings with the radical Islamic group that is known to support terrorists?(...) CAIR or the Council on American-Islamic Relations is an offshoot of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), a group whose founders include the number two leader in Hamas today, Mousa Abu Marzook, and the former North American leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Sami Al-Arian. The IAP, which has, in the past, published the Hamas charter calling for the destruction of Israel, folded its organization shortly after the group was found liable for the murder of an American boy, David Boim, during a Hamas terror operation.
(...) Last Tuesday, CAIR issued a press release, stating that "American officials should begin talking with the elected representatives of the Palestinian people." In other words, CAIR was telling the United States that it needs to begin dialogue with Hamas. This happened at the same time the U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed legislation imposing broad restrictions on U.S. aid to the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority.
(...) The message CAIR was sending was clear; the group stands against the U.S. government and U.S. interests and, instead, stands with terrorists abroad. The more CAIR is legitimized by our legislators and politicians (i.e., accepting campaign donations and writing fundraiser letters), the more our country's own morals and requirements will become corrupted.
Say hello to Jim Davis (D) and Charlie Crist (R) ..., Florida's terrorist-supporting (by virtue of providing support to and accepting donations from the terrorist-founded organization, CAIR) frontrunners for governor. The two men should immediately hand back donations from CAIR, repudiate letters of support, and work for the betterment of Florida's citizens rather than the progress of CAIR's terrorist-supporting Islamist agenda.

Radical Islam's Hypocrisy:
This excellent article by Danial Pipes addresses what Pipes describes as an ugly Islamist pattern of double standards. His model here is CAIR who presents itself as a civil-rights group, yet has shown itself to be the opposite by asserting special privileges for Muslims and derogating the rights of others. This is a very typical Islamic approach and illustrates the Muslim mindset toward non-Muslims. In his final paragraph Pipes advises:The Question of CAIR:(...) When Western institutions grant legitimacy to Islamist organizations like CAIR, they strengthen Islamist supremacism and its drive for Muslim dominance. Those institutions need to get smart and retract that legitimacy, reserving it for Muslims who reject radical Islam.
CAIR's founding chairman, Omar Ahmed, also an IAP alumnus, is said to have declared at a public event in California in July, 1998: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran . . . should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth." Ahmed has since disputed the accuracy of the quote--five years after it was reported by a California newspaper.American-Islamic body rejects Islam link with terrorism theory:After the 9/11 attacks on the United States, CAIR's Web site featured a link titled, "Donate to the NY/DC Disaster Relief Fund." The link connected to the Web site of the Holy Land Foundation, a charity closed down by the United States three months later as a Hamas front.
(In their usual exercise in Al-Taqiya) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has criticised the global view that most reporters are 100 times more likely to associate Islam with terrorism or militancy than all other faiths combined.Describing this portrayal of Islam as very lopsided, CAIR Chairman Parvez Ahmed said it was the result of "deep-seated misunderstandings about Islam, and sometimes just plain prejudice."
