Talibanistan - The Fighting Continues As Taliban Influence In Pakistan's Northwest Territories Grows

The violence in Afghanistan continues. In the latest estimate of Taliban casualties during the fighting over the past few days almost 200 have been killed, with 25 Coalition, Afghan security forces and civilians killed. The Taliban has established safe havens in Pakistan's Northwest Frontier Province and Federally Administered Tribal Area agencies of North and South Waziristan, Bajaur, Tank, Khyber and Dera Ismail Khan - a region that apparently is now being referred to as Talibanistan.
