Skype Wi-Fi Phone
Topics: TechnologyDo you Skype? Free internet phone service is getting a whole lot better with the introduction of Wi-Fi phones. At a price of $249.99 USD, the candy bar-shaped phone would allow for free Skype calling, as well as calls to landline and mobile phones (for a small fee), over both secured and open Wi-Fi networks. The key is no computer is necessary - just WiFi access.
NETGEAR's WiFi phone is the first mobile unit to receive Skype certification. Although not available until July, you can pre-order today. Very cool.Posted by tim at May 3, 2006 12:16 AM
