Pelosi, MoveOn.org, And Friends 'Move On' The Internet

Topics: Blogosphere

Apparently conservative bloggers are too much for Pelosi, MoveOn.org, and their friends [along with a few liberal Republicans like Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and Vin Weber, former House member and close ally to both former House Speaker Newt Gingrich], because according to the Internet Freedom Coalition, they are coming after the Internet:

Nancy Pelosi, Hillary, MoveOn.org and their Naderite big-government friends, and even far-left PETA spokesman "Moby" have long been trying to defeat Republicans.

(...) Now, they have a new target. They are coming after the Internet.

(...) The Internet has succeeded because of free enterprise, not regulations and taxes. The liberal proponents of these sweeping new regulations on the Internet call their regulatory scheme "network neutrality."

(...) In reality, their "network neutrality" scheme will turn back the clock on Internet providers, treat them like an old fashioned, regulated utility. And that's just the beginning. Once liberals start regulating the Internet, they won't stop.

(...) We need to look to the future, not the past. We need the Internet to develop freely: ... without government regulations, without taxes, and without liberals in charge of what we can and cannot do.

What will it be? Free market control or federal government control?

Email your Congressman and tell them to oppose the liberals' attempt to regulate the Internet with so-called "Network Neutrality" regulations.
