Talking about cretins and taxes, as an aside anecdote, I can still remember the jokes going around Washington at the time of that most "Illustrious" and "Unimpeachable" of our Presidents, "Bubba" Clinton, who is reported as having commented to a friend at the height of the "Whitewater scandal" and of the "unreported earnings, and campaign donations scandals," and other of his many financial "improprieties " (and perhaps you thought there had only been the "sexual" ones!):

"You know, Hilary and I can't sleep nights with Whitewater and the money we owe the IRS, so first thing this morning I wrote them a check.... now, if we keep not being able to sleep nights, I'll send them the rest!" LOL!

But back to Valerie Plame. The "Valerie Plame Affair," along with "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego" have been duly blown out of all proportion, and Special Counsel Fitzgerald has wasted inordinate amounts of time carefully scrutinizing the "Carmen San Diego" scenes trying to see if he can pin-point to Karl Rove being there amidst the crowd, and the "obvious" implications it must therefore have to his involvement in the outing of Valerie Plame! Ridiculous??? Nah, you just have to learn to think like a Democrat!

What is really amazing, aside from the five people who are slated to testify in the Libby Trial that it was none other than Valerie's husband, former Ambassador J.C. Wilson himself, who openly outed her in Washington "Social Circles," finally tossing the case (and Special Counsel Fitzgerald's "impartially"dogged efforts) out the window, is that the one image of Miss Plame with which most Americans are familiar with, and which sticks in my mind, is the one where she poses sitting next to her husband, in what one must only appropriately assume to be a convertible "Aston Martin" (no other car would do for a proper "Bond Girl")

in her "Bond Girl" head scarf, so reminiscent of the female Japanese spy in "You only Live Twice," in her Sunbeam convertible, speeding down the road, dodging bullets sitting next to Sean Connery, with her scarf elegantly flying behind her "a la Isadora Duncan"!

Evidently, Miss Plame enjoyed the "fantasy," and relished the "mythos" of her position as James Bond's, CIA, female counterpart ("Agent Double 'O' Negative"), and as proven by testimony given by her neighbors and acquaintances, all of whom knew exactly where she worked and what she did for a living, flaunted her position at every possible turn, relishing in it, so that what is really laughable is that anyone could not perceive that this woman was a CIA "Bond Girl" wannabe, rather than the allegations that "someone in some sinister plot hatched in the bowels of the White House" exposed her cover! One look at the aforementioned picture, and any person with the least common sense can see it in her pose, and demeanor. She doesn't strike as someone who was trying to remain "unnoticed" which is the hallmark of any real spy, but as someone "playing" at being a spy! In the words of John Crewdson, of the Chicago Tribune: "Plame's identity, if truly a secret, was thinly veiled."

But the "farce" doesn't end there (does it ever with left-wing nuts and liberals?!?!).

As outraged as the left-wing Democrats, and liberals in Washington are about the outing of Valerie Plame, yet they all praise and applaud the "patriotic" efforts of CIA leakers such as the ousted Mary McCarthy , who have revealed " classified information" to the media in order to undermine the Administration and its policies, as in the case of the Al Qaeda terrorists being held by the US in foreign prisons, or the NSA wiretapping, again, of Al Qaeda foreign suspects, which they have turned into a "media circus" revealing sensitive information about our present intelligence, and military operations, to our enemies, openly, on the front pages of " The New York Times" and similar publications, for them to just simply read all about it!!!

I tell you, if as the commercial proclaims, the "Weekly Standard" is the publication of choice "read in the White House, Conservative Circles, and in the Capitals of Europe," then the "New York Times" must be the publication of choice "read by Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and in all the Islamofacist Terrorist Circles." Pffffff !!!

None other than our own "Benedict Arnold Lifetime of Treachery Achievement Award" recipient, Senator Kerry, dismissed the actions of the CIA leakers as "improper, yet, that we should be mindful they were revealing the truth" (meriting no greater disciplinary action than a slap on the hand?!?!), while other Democrats have vehemently decried the crack-down on "leakers" by former CIA Director Porter Goss, who they accuse of having "disrupted" the Agency when he took over, eighteen months ago, and have likened it to the imagery of Goss having been the Proverbial "Republican elephant loose in a china shop" when he came barging-in with his "entourage of conservatives" bent on reforming the CIA! Imagine! How dare Porter Goss crack down on "leakers" and try and change the left-wing, liberal bias of the Agency!!! What an outrage!!!

As delighted as many left-wing sympathizers at the CIA may be about Mr. Goss' resignation, their delight has been bittersweet at best, since, needless to say, their worst nightmare became realized when President Bush then nominated General Hayden to replace Goss, and all their worse fears became a reality: "The Military is taking over the CIA and everything else...and us 'Democratic Commies' can't do 'jack' about it! Boo Hoo!"

The absurdity of it all would be comical, were it not so pathetic, but were it not for the good laughs provided by our fellow Democratic "Jackasses" our outlook would indeed be grim, in light of all the challenges we are facing...not the least of which are the upcoming November elections, and the dire consequences it may have for the future of our nation....if they get elected!!!

With fellow "patriots" like these amongst us, who needs enemies?!?!
