Latest Al-Qaeda Media-Ops Reveal All Is Not Well
Topics: TerrorismHis popularity with fellow Muslims waning, Osama played the Palestinian card in his latest Internet show - hoping to bolster support. According to Osama, "the West's failure to provide the Palestinian Authority with economic assistance was proof of a Zionist-backed war on Islam". His fellow Islamothug Zarqawi, "still posing as Osama's devotee but eager for equal airtime", taunted President Bush and rejected the hard-won coalition of the democratically-elected government in Baghdad. Then there was that little matter of at one point during his video-tirade, the message "don't forget to pray for us," flashed across the screen. However, as Maggie Mitchell Salem points out in her Arab News piece - it seems that fewer and fewer Muslims are willing to do so.
