Frist's Move For Cloture On Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (S. 2611) Passes - Moves Amnesty Forward
Topics: Political News and commentariesSenator Bill Frist moved for cloture today on S. 2611, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act. Cloture passed by a vote of 73-25. This essentially elemenates the possibility of amendments that would focus more on enforcement than awarding the law breakers a prize, and subsequently opening the floodgates for increasing the human tsunami coming across our southern border.
Dan at Digger's Realm has a list of the Senators who supported amnesty and unruly spending by voting for cloture. If you are NOT in favor of AMNESTY for the ILLEGAL ALIENS, call the Senators and tell them what you think of their cloture vote and that if they vote to approve this bill today that they've lost your support - forever and ever Amen!!!
