Britain: Islamic terror suspects up 50 percent since last year
Topics: TerrorismI'm not sure what they base the number on other than the as mentioned "targeted suspects", however the number of Islamic extremist security suspects in Britain has increased by 50 percent since the suicide bombings in London last year:
A senior intelligence source at the country's domestic spy agency MI5 was quoted as saying that they were targeting 800 such suspects before the bombings on July 7 last year, but that figure now stood at 1,200.One can only imagine what a count would look like here in the U.S. - not very encouraging, for sure.In September 2001, the number of people deemed a "risk to national security" was 250, the newspaper said.
The unnamed MI5 source did not give a reason for the apparent rise in radicalisation but described the threat as "current, relentless and increasing".
The Dems would serve our nation a lot better if they'd apply half as much venim on our external enemies that operate within and outside our nation, as they do on their internal enemies - the Bush administration.
This Islamofascism and it's terrorism is serious stuff, but you wouldn't know it if you listened to the moonbats on the Left.
