Translated Documents Show Saddam Planned Suicide Missions Against U.S.

Topics: Iraq

Showing initiative that we should have been seeing from an alert mainstream press (they're apparently only alert to news that suits their own leftist political agenda), Ed Morrissey of Captain's Quarters has confirmed the translation (by two independent translators) of a captured Iraqi document asking for "volunteers for a Suicide Mission" against "American Interests".

Ed suggests that the translated documents confirm that "Saddam Hussein and his regime had every intention of attacking the US, either here or abroad or both, using members of their own military for terrorist attacks", and says that they put an end to all of the arguments about whether we should have attacked Iraq - we now know that Saddam and his military planned to attack us. This one document demonstrates that had we not acted to remove Saddam Hussein from power, "he would have acted to kill Americans around the world".

Yet, what are we hearing from the MSM? The silence from the mainstream media is deafening. Evidence that we acted justifiably against Iraq is apparently unsuitable for the MSM's anti-Iraq agenda, and besides, they're heavily occupied right now in pushing the pro-illegal Mexican, anti-American agenda of the leftist organizers, so loved by John McCain, Ted Kennedy, and their ilk.
