On April 6 we posted on the firefighter in Tampa, Florida that dove through the window of a burning mobile home in a failed attempt to save 3-year-old Gavin Rosado. Gavin's brother, Sebastion, was critically injured at the time and taken to Tampa General Hospital where he clung to life in the pediatric intensive care unit. The family's rented mobile home was completely destroyed in the fire, as was all of their worldly possessions.
Just 3 days later we reported that little 1-1/2-year-old Sebastian Rosado lost his battle for life.
Yesterday in Tampa, ABC Action News interviewed The Society of St. Vincent de Paul concerning their assistance to the Rosado familiy, in response to what is called by ABC News as a "a tragedy that's hard to fathom".
You can view the video and the story here.
A double funeral service for Gavin and Sebastian will be held at the Marsicano Funeral Home on Henderson Blvd. in Tampa, Florida. The children will be buried in Lakeland, side by side.
