Family Looses Second Child From Fire: Sabastian Rosado Has Passed Away
Topics: Human Interest
On April 6 we posted on the firefighter in Tampa, Florida that dove through the window of a burning mobile home in a failed attempt to save 3-year-old Gavin Rosado. Gavin's brother, Sebastion, was critically injured at the time and taken to Tampa General Hospital where he clung to life in the pediatric intensive care unit. The family's rented mobile home was completely destroyed in the fire, as was all of their worldly possessions.
Sadly, this afternoon little 1-1/2-year-old Sebastian Rosado lost his battle for life.
A funeral for both children is presently being scheduled for some time later this week and will be held at the Marsicano Funeral Home on Henderson Blvd. in Tampa. The children will be buried side by side.
Our prayers go out to Will and Lisa Rosado, and all of their family - many of whom I have personally met with during these last few days of great sadness over Gavin's death, and prayerful hope that Sebastian would survive. I have never met a more loving family, and have been deeply moved by their willingness to allow me to share their sadness with them.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is accepting donations in behalf of the Will and Lisa Rosado - at Rosadokids.org. The family's needs are significant, and their tragedy is beyond words. The family had no insurance of any kind.
Those seaking further details should email Hyscience for further information.
The original story is here. The family's temporary website is here, still under construcion.
