A Defense Fund For CIA Leaker?

Outed CIA analyst/leaker/covert leftist political hack Mary McCarthy is denying through her lawyers that she was the source for the Washington Post's Dana Priest in revealing the secret prisons that housed terrorists overseas, even though she either broke her oath to keep classified information - classified and incredibly successfully lied to the lie detector of her guilt, or she is lying now.

And if that's not enough to make for an ongoing story, count on Howard Dean to make it better by, along with others at the Democrat National Committee, looking to some of their donors to set up a legal defense fund for McCarthy.

Valerie Plame was actually a non-story-made-big by Democrats for political advantage and wasn't a national security secret, but what Mary McCarthy did harmed our national security and makes her a traitor. And only the Democrats would even consider excusing treason.

But as Allah Pundit offers, it just can't be true. "Not on his worst day would Dean be that politically tone-deaf".

But then, ten grand would buy you a few friends, wouldn't it? And of course, there's this. When a family member finds herself in trouble, it's only natural that the rest band together to bail her out.

Like I said, only the Dems would even think about defending a traitor, let alone actually do it.

And if you think you've heard it all, it's only just begun - it just gets better.
