UNC Terrorist Plans To Defend Himself

Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, the nutcase Iranian Islamist accused of injuring nine people when he drove a rental car through the UNC-Chapel Hill campus last week politely told a judge today that he planned to represent himself. He proceeded to tell the judge, "I'm thankful you're here to give me this trial and to learn more about the will of Allah."
I don't think he's going to be very happy with "Allah's" decision - but he's likely to have a life time to think about it.
You can hear the audio of his 911 call here, and as Egyptian Sandmonkey points out, "people who attempt to kill people with the same emotional effort it takes to swat a fly, and show the same level of concern for both," are very scary people.
Unfortunately, Taheri-azar is only one of millions of other radicals, just like him.
