The ACLU Takes It's War On America To The UN
Topics: Whacko CultsEvery day, the headlines scream with some new threat to America, it's security and it's Constitutiion, from the American Civil Liberties Union (readers might be interested in it's communist agenda).
As pointed out by Alan Sears in his WND piece back in October 2005, throughout our history, the United States has been a unique nation. We are the only modern nation founded not on a common heritage, ethnicity, outside intervention or mandated religion, but rather a shared set of ideals, and these powerful beliefs were outlined in the Declaration of Independence and codified in the U.S. Constitution.
From the minutemen at Lexington and Concord to the Marines currently in Afghanistan and Iraq, our armed forces have fought, bled and all too often died to protect these foundational documents and the ideals they contain. The unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Free exercise of religion. Freedom of speech. And the right to shape a government and laws that are of the people, by the people and for the people.However, there are increasingly - leading jurists, law professors and other legal experts who are turning to foreign courts and international bodies to subvert the Constitution, who are in effect, seeking to undermine America's ideals and the sovereignty with which we preserve them.
And chief among those that are working to subvert the American Constitution is the ACLU and it's supporters.
Now, the ACLU, in their ongoing war on America, has taken their diatribe on the evils of the United States Government to the U.N. Human Rights Committee:
The American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Human Rights Network today urged the U.N. Human Rights Committee to hold the U.S. government accountable for flagrant and repeated violations of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).Jay, at Stop The ACLU says that even as sickening as this is, it's only one step in the ACLU's agenda to undermine America's sovereignty and freedom that so many of our military forces have sacrificed and died to preserve. Apparently frustrated by their inability to advance their radical agenda fast enough to suit their taste under the U.S. Constitution, are now determined not only to convince the American judiciary to look to international law, but also to use it as a means to their ends. They apparently hold it as a higher authority than our own Constitution and are now more than willing to sacrifice our sovereignty in their pursuit to radically force change on America to fit their own radical views."Locally, nationally and globally, the United States has repeatedly failed in its responsibility to uphold basic human rights," said Ann Beeson, Associate Legal Director of the ACLU. "We are appealing to the international arbiters to hold the U.S. accountable to basic human rights standards."
