Saving The Life Of Abdul Rahman (Updated)

As ESM points out, "This will make the christians and the western world happy, because the guy doesn’t get killed; and it will make the muslim world happy, because, hey, the guy is crazy. Of course he converted to christianity. Only crazy people would leave Islam for christianity. Right?" - end update.
Yesterday (please read for background), as we've done previously, we posted on the story of Abdur Rahman in Afghanistan, a Christian convert who is facing the death penalty for "abandoning Islam." The TimesOnline.UK has additional background on the story.
Today, as we will be doing on subsequent days, we are reposting the action items that are being undertaken to save Abdur Rahman's life:

As I said yesterday, If after spilling American blood in Afghanistan to not only remove it as a safe haven for Al-Qaeda but to also free it's people from the repressive Taliban regime, a man can still be executed for converting from Islam to Christianity, then we have completely wasted precious American lives, and the Islamists of Afghanistan are too deeply locked into the barbarism of the middle ages and too backward, to be brought into the modern world.
Please help save the life of Abdul Rahman. Call, email, and sign the petition. Then pass all this along to everyone you know throughout the world.
