Man faces death over Christianity
Topics: FaithRemember Afghanistan, the country that we spent lives to free from the Taliban's cruel Islamic regime, and of course, because they refused to deny Al-Qaeda safe harbor?
As almost everyone knows by now, Islamic sharia law proposes the death sentence for Muslims who abandon Islam, and Afghanistan's new constitution says, "no law can be contrary to the sacred religion of Islam". That's very bad news for Abdur Rahman, who now faces the death penalty for "abandoning Islam."
Interestingly, he was arrested by police after members of his "loving" Islamic family informed police of his conversion to Christianity.
