Jihad in New Mexico? - Sick minds, Sick Culture, Sick People
Topics: Understanding IslamThe depravity of the Islamists continues:
From Las Cruces Sun News (via Jihad Watch): What the FBI called "a possible terrorist threat" forced the evacuation Thursday of most of New Mexico State University during midterm examinations. A similar call to the Sun-News also led to an evacuation of workers and a lockdown of nearby Central Elementary School. (Summary)"Blow a university up as high as the heavens, so people will know that al-Qaeda lives on"! What kind of mentality comes up with such thoughts? These words actually come out of the mouth of a living human? Where do these sick, primative, irrational, barbarians come from? Islamists, such as the nutcase that made such threats, are not of today's world, rather, regardless of their age, they are locked in the mentality of the Middle Ages, along with their religious beliefs. No explosives were found in either location, but a man with an Arab accent called the NMSU president's office and the newspaper about 8 a.m. and said a bomb was going to explode on campus. The caller to the Sun-News also made a threat against the newspaper, and according to a Sun-News receptionist who took the call, said "they were going to blow (the university) up as high as the heavens, so people will know that al-Qaida lives on."
Although I've mentioned it numerous times before, It's amazing just how appropriately Hafa Sultan's words apply to what we are witnessing from Islamists, first outside our America, and now, more frequently here in our own country, in our own cities, in our own communities:
(...) The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of religions, or a clash of civilizations. It is a clash between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that belongs to the 21st century. It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. It is a clash between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship. It is a clash between human rights, on the one hand, and the violation of these rights, on other hand. more...Just a couple of days ago I posted on Melkite Archbishop Cyril Salim Bustros', an expert on Christian-Islamic relations, who says that the clash between Islam and the West is inevitable unless both sides change, and that the images of Islam that are so prevalent in the West, those of Jihad and suicide bombers, Osama bin Laden and terrorism, may not be representative of the majority of Muslims in the world - but neither are they a false image.
In other words, given the input of two reasonable people with knowledge of both the Middle East and Islam, we have a reasonably accurate description of the nutcases living among us that wish to do us harm.
We, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, are facing a terrible threat from a large number of backward thinking Islamic extremists who belong in the Middle Ages - not in the 21st century, who are mentally and emotionally prone to thoughts and deeds of barbarity and irrationality, who have no regard for human rights and freedom, and who live in an entirely different world (as in world view, culture, mindset, belief system, etc.) than the rest of us.
Wow, that's not very encouraging. Perhaps it's time we got ourselves together, began working together, and focused our energies on the enemy who wants to do all of us harm, instead of worrying about our petty political and personal agends.
