Iran's Ahmadinejad: 'Islam to rule the world'

One would think that by now, even the Islamo-appeasers such as the liberal left, their media, and their academe would have recognized the global threat of radical Islam and their obsession to rule the world. But if they haven't got it by now, why don't they open their ears to the words of the Islamists themselves, particularly the mullahs and most particularly the head of the country that funds more Islamothugs throughout the world and has been responsible for killing more Americans during the last ten years than any other country?

Of course, we're talking about Iran, and the mouthpiece of the mullahs, Mahmoud "little man syndrome" Ahmadinejad, who, as was reported on Saturday, said at the end of his state visit to Malaysia:

Islam will soon be the domineering force in the world, placing first in the number of its followers among all other religions.

Following a meeting with Sultan Jamalullail I, the supreme head of the federation of nine states where Islam was proclaimed the state religion, he pontificated: "The world will be in the hands of Islam over the next few years."

According to the president, history "convincingly shows the force of the Islamic religion, aimed not at quashing other peoples, but at serving peace and quietude".

It was only yesterday, that I posted on a statement made by Al Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri on Saturday, who called on Muslims to attack the West in an audio tape posted on the Internet, urging similar strikes as those against New York, London and Madrid in recent years. After briefly commenting on his statements, I laid out a diatribe expressing my annoyances, and in closing, said that after my rant, I felt better, and that I was going to have breakfast and make my way to mass where I won't be hearing anything about infidels, hate, violence, murder, suicide, and an obsession to rule the world.

Interestingly, not having seen this most recent statement of Ahmadinejad's, I said that to hear about infidels, hate, violence, murder, suicide, and an obsession to rule the world, I'd have to go to Friday prayers in a mosque, likely have to understand Arabic, and work hard at trying to figure out which people in the room are "moderates" and which ones are likely to blow me and my neighbors up at the local coffee shop or pizza parlor.

Obviously, I could have simply listened to Ahmadinejad, the puppet of the mullahs that control the country that wants the rest of the world to trust it with atomic bombs.

My closing comments in my piece yesterday equally applies today. To my many Muslim friends that I know to be secular and moderate, and hate having to deal with this issue or even hearing about it at all, I apologize in advance for having to make the obvious, more obvious. But without your help, this is just going to get tougher on all of us!
