Inside Saddam's Head and Regime

The Joint Center for Operational Analysis and Lessons Learned of the U.S. Joint Force Command has just published an unclassified pdf document Iraqi perspectives Project: A View of Operation Iraqi Freedom from Saddam's Senior Leadership. It is based on captured Iraq official documents, and interviews with former top military and government officials. It provides insights and knowledge that overthrows accepted wisdom.

Nothing like this analysis of enemy thinking and perspectives has been done since the end of World War II. Unfortunately, although unclassified, the document has a pdf lock on it so that I cannot copy it in part or transform it to MS Word. Since taking notes from it involves the old fashioned copying by hand, I find it difficult to work with the document (I know, I know, I'm spoiled. Thirty years ago, that was the only way I could do research)
