ICE Freezes On The Job - Illegal Aliens Walk Free

Topics: Immigration and Border Issues

This is simply insane:

DENVER -- When a Colorado state trooper pulled over a van crammed with 15 illegal aliens headed for Iowa City, it looked like their plans to visit the Hawkeye State had come to a screeching halt.

Instead, Trooper John Lopez released the van and its occupants after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent told the Colorado State Patrol that he didn't have the staff to detain the admitted illegal aliens.

What is the name of the ICE agent and why is he or she still employed by ICE? These people need to start loosing their jobs for their failures, and locals need the authority and the mandate to enforce immigration laws.

Of course this is the type of thing we expected to happen when President Bush made one of his political hack appointments (remember Harriet Myers and the Dubai Port deal?) by handing Julie Myers the job as the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In that role, Ms. Myers leads the largest investigative component of the Department of Homeland Security and the second largest investigative agency in the federal government, with more than 15,000 employees, including 6,000 investigators, and an annual budget of more than $4 billion. She had absolutely NO experience or qualifications for the job. She still doesn't!

Write your representatives in Congress, the president, and the vice president. Let your voice be heard.

While true, we are a nation of immigrants, in this age of terrorism and ever increasing social needs, we can't have people invading America at will and illegally, law enforcement ignoring the law, and leaders that refuse to or are incapable of requiring and paying for the enforcement of our nation's laws. What happened in Denver is happening every day all over America.

If someone wants to come to America, then they must have only one option - to come here legally or not at all. There is no grey here, one either crosses America's border legally, or they have broken the law and must be both removed and suffer a consequence.

If a federal, state, or local law enforcement official fails to act to prevent our laws from being broken, they themselves are breaking the law and must be prosecuted! If our leaders fail to lead, they must be replaced by those that will.

Report Suspicious Activity: 1-866-DHS-2-ICE
Than call your local press and let them know that you've reported it. If no action - let your voice be heard in Congress and at the ballot box!
