Those Lying Danish Imams

Apparently lying to further a violent Islamic jihadist agenda, is no big deal to Muslims clerics (like we're suppost to not know about the Islamic tradition of al-Taqiya).

Michelle Malken just received a tip from a reader in Denmark with more info "about the lying delegation of Danish imams" who fabricated anti-Muslim artwork and blamed it on the Jyllands-Posten in December for the purpose of "stoking the jihadists." (See Scott Johnson's round-up at Power Line.)

In addition to the fake drawings and photos and the other lies included in the Danish imams' propaganda pamphlet posted over at The Counterterrorism Blog, my reader reports that Danish radio has enumerated additional falsehoods.

The imams reportedly spread lies that the Jyllands-Posten had 120 cartoons, not 12, and that the paper was owned by the government. (There are no state-run newspapers in Denmark.) In addition, the imams reportedly claimed that the Danish government would censor the Koran, burn the Koran, and that Danes were planning to make a blasphemous movie about Mohammed. As it turns out, the center cartoon is NOT an picture of Muhammad! (hat tip - Gateway Pundit) It's Jacques Barrot, at a pig squealing contestant at the French Pig-Squealing Championships in Trie-sur-Baise's annual festival.

So once again, the imams are caught in a lie. The Muslim's violent cartoon jihad has not been the result of a spontaneous explosion of rage by Muslims affronted by caricatures of their prophet, it has been a planned and deliberately instigated incitement by a delegation of Danish Muslims who toured the Middle East and met with many high-ranking Islamic clerics, showed them faked images in addition to the real ones published by the Danish paper Jyllands-Posten. It was subsequently stoked by Arab governments who love such controversies, because they provide convenient opportunities to channel anger away from local injustices and their failing societies. However, this doesn't diminish one iota, the alarming wake-up call to all of Western civilization that Islam is capable of insidious, mindless, violent, intolerance, unbefitting modern society, and capable of behavior more characteristic of the Middle Ages then today's world. In a sense, the Muhammad cartoon fiasco has exposed militant Islam and it's followers for what they are: self-absorbed thugs, that are capable of mindless violence and intolerant of others, who seek world domination by an Islamic Caliphate - juxtaposed with submission to radical Islam by those of us who find no reason to follow their archaic beliefs. Islam, as we are seeing it today, is apparently incompatible with democratic values and freedoms existent in the West - by their own admission.

If Muslims are capable of the rage we have witnessed over cartoons, what happens when they have nukes?
