The Cartoon You Can't See In Russia

... is captioned, "We did not teach them to do it!", and is blamed for the closing of a Volgograd newspaper.

The authorities of the central Russian city of Volgograd have closed a municipal daily that had published a cartoon featuring Christ, Moses, Buddha and Mohammed, the RIA-Novosti news agency reported on Friday.

The agency quoted vice-mayor Andrei Doronin as saying that the decision to close the Gorodskiye Vesti newspaper was taken after thorough consideration in order to prevent inter-religious strife.

The paper carried an article headlined "There must be no room for racists at the top" with a cartoon depicting Christ, Moses, Buddha and Mohammed watching television together. The television screen showed two groups of people ready to start fighting, with a caption "We never taught them to do that".

Publius Pundit has an in-depth commentary, and Gateway Pundit wonders if Russia is being PC or just putting the clamps down on dissent.

This should be viewed as a harbinger of how things are going to go in the Iranian nuclear talks, with Putin crushing criticism of Muslims, while caving in to Muslim sensitivities at the expense of freedom, juxtaposed with a view toward financial rewards from deals with the Iranians. What we saw between Russian, France and Saddam Hussein, is now being repeated between Russia, China, and Iran - and the end result will be a harder row to hoe for the West in their efforts to solve the nuclear crisis brought on by Iran, and greater graver consequences for failing to halt advancing Islamofascism.

Look for the U.S. and the Europeans to be led down the primrose path by Russia and Iran, that Iran led the Europeans (and the U.S. with them) down for years. Lies, deceit, and pseudo negotiations while the development of nuclear techology and weapos continues to move forward, unabated. The pattern is as clear as the ridiculousness of the Muslim reaction to cartoons, and the Islamic agenda that has been driving the global violence - all which serve to drive a rapidly developing and growing Islamic threat to world peace.
