Iranian Suicide Bombers Threaten To "Burn Down" U.S. Interests

Topics: Iran

A senior commander of Iran's elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) vowed that following the printing of insulting cartoons of Islam's prophet Muhammad in European dailies, the Islamic Republic's suicide volunteers abroad were being placed on readiness alert to attack United States and Israeli interests.

"The only tool against the enemy that we have with which we can become victorious are martyrdom-seeking operations and, God willing, our possession of faithful, brave, trained and zealous persons will give us the upper hand in the battlefield", he said.

"America and any other power cannot win in the unbalanced war against us".

"Upon receiving their orders, our martyrdom-seeking forces will be uncontrollable and a guerrilla war may go on in various places for years to come",

Could this be construed as a declaration of war by the Islamic regime? What insane provocation will they think of next? And they want to be trusted with nuclear technology?

What is one to think about a "religion" and culture that condones suicide and martyrdom? Are we seeing a signal here that Iran recognizes their military limitations? Regardless of how it's accomplished, regime change in Iran, from the mullahs on down, is looking more and more like the only option to the West.

Scientists and the World Health Organization are concerned about bird flu becoming a pandemic, a deadly plague across the globe. What about the ongoing pandemic of Islamic extremism, the deadly plague that's already here?

If you have any doubt whatsoever that this is the case, and that Iran is just as central to the source of the plague as al-Qaeda, read, "Ahmadinejad: Islamic Revolution harbinger of peace and security for mankind (Part II)."

"Those who resist against the will of nations had better realize that the balance of power is changing in favor of nations and the powerful governments that merely rely on their military powers are on the verge of annihilation." He emphasized, "The day for establishment of lasting peace and security in the world is close at hand and the only way for saving mankind is restoration of the prophets' teachings."
Let's not forget that when we are talking about Iran and it's president, we are talking about a nation whose leader actually believes that he is on a divine mission.
