Hillary's Popularity As Pres - Lowest In A Year
Topics: Political News and commentariesA new Rasmussen report shows support for a presidential run by Hillary Clinton is at its lowest point in over a year. Only 27% would "definitely" vote for the former First Lady, while 43% have no intention of ever casting a vote for her. Captain's Quarters has the story...
As Jacob Weisberg said in his July 29, 2005 piece in Slate. Hillary lacks that key quality a politician can't achieve through hard work - likability. People just don't like her. "As hard as she tries, Hillary has little facility for connecting with ordinary folk, for making them feel that she understands, identifies, and is at some level one of them. You may admire and respect her. But it's hard not to find Hillary a bit inhuman. Whatever she may be like in private, her public persona is calculating, clenched, relentless--and a little robotic. " And the American public has never elected a robotic, calculating, clenched, relentless woman that they don't like, as president.
