Saudis Still Ticked About Muhammad. Cartoons
Topics: Saudi ArabiaIf you read my post, "Cartoons have Muslims threatening newspaper," you're familiar with the story behind this one.
No one could ever accuse the Saudis of being "tolerant" of free speech, or forgiving, particularly when it has to do with Islam. They're still ticked about the Muhammad. cartoons:
SAUDI Arabia has recalled its ambassador to Denmark, saying the government had not taken enough action over newspaper cartoons seen as mocking Islam and Muhammad. .It appears they don't have much of a sense of humor, perhaps it's a failure to appreciate art."[We] recalled the ambassador in light of the Danish government's lack of attention to insulting the Prophet Mohammad by its newspapers," a government official said.
However, all kidding aside, my hats off to the Danish for not kowtowing to Islam and the Saudis.
