Pakistani Police Asked To Arrest 'Prayer Leaders'
Topics: Understanding IslamPakistan's Interior Ministry has asked Islamabad Police to apprehend 16 prayer leaders placed in the 11EE category of the Anti-Terrorism Act (The 11EE category is a last warning to people who deliver biased religious speeches and criticize government policies). The ministry has also asked the Islamabad district administration to cancel the prayer leaders' arms licences and seize their weapons.
And why is it that "prayer leaders" need arms licenses and weapons? I can't name a single rabbi or priest that has or seeks to have, either an arms license or a weapon. So why do Islamic "prayer leaders" need them?
