More On The Harvey Family Murders
Topics: Harvey Family MurdersThere's more today on the Harvey family murders in Virginia (see extensive post on the murders here), but there's much more to learn as to reasons and motivation for the brutal and inhuman massacre of the family.
Ricky Gavon Gray, from Arlington, and Ray Joseph Dandridge, both 28, have been arrested in a house in West Philadelphia, and subsequently charged in Virginia with conspiracy to commit murder and car theft. Investigators are now looking into whether the two men, who are now charged for the robbery and killings of seven persons in their Richmond homes, were involved in similar crimes elsewhere.
Dandridge had just been released from serving ten years in prison. I can't help but wonder what this guy learned in prison, and I don't mean that sarcastically. This guy went in a thief and came out of prison a stone cold killer of children using a box cutter to cut their throats. Both the act and the method bespeaks of more than a simple attempt to rob a family of money and jewels, rather to punish in a most brutal manner! Dandridge even posted on the web while in prison (hat tip - Riehl World View), and characterized himself as a romantic and loving fellow.
