Feinstein Acting Responsibly?
Topics: Political News and commentariesI never would have guessed that a liberal like Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) would make an adult and responsible decision when it came to the Altio nomination for SCOTUS. But miracles do happen, and Feinstien apparently has broken ranks with Democrats, essentially removing any rhetorical cover they may have taken for a filibuster.
As noted by Jay at Stop The ACLU on Friday, "The democrats pulled out every dirty trick in their bag to damage the confirmation of Judge Alito, yet in the end the only damage they did was to their own party." At least Senator Feinstein is smart enough to know when stop playing ball with a loosing team, and cut her losses.
